“Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord for he is good, for his mercy endureth forever.” – Psalm 106:1

Was there ever a time in your childhood when you tried something unfavorable and disappointed your parents? Perhaps they told you not to do it in the first place. Possibly disciplined you for it? But they forgave you, wanted you to learn, and grow as a person. We all have inadequacies and imperfections. But, we can always come before our Creator in prayer. There we will find the understanding of a Father’s gentle heart. We can ask for forgiveness and find an abundance of mercy and compassion. He may try to teach us wisdom through the process, so we may grow. But, the slate will be cleaned. Our steps will be made stronger. Through the beauty and power of his presence, we can always come again before his throne and find mercy. – Commentary by Lisa M. Leto

Acts 2:42-47
42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
