Whoever fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for their children it will be a refuge. Proverbs 14:26
Maybe you are working so hard to give everything your family wants and needs that you are forgetting the most important thing to give them is a relationship with Jesus Christ. Yes, it is true you cannot give a relationship to them but you can model what one looks like.
The one thing I know my parents will leave me is a legacy of a strong, humble faith in God. My parents are regular churchgoers, but it doesn’t stop there. In their daily lives growing up I always seen them live a life that was bringing glory to God’s kingdom. It was through them that I dove into my faith as strong as I did.
Faith lives on in faithful generations.
