“For whoever has will be given more, will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them” – Matthew 25:29
Each of us has talents that we can offer to God. These gifts are unique to who we are. All too often, we think, “I know I can do what they are asking, but I’m not going to because someone else can.” What is important to remember is that you may actually be the only person who is meant to do what needs to be done. Today’s passage is a reminder that we need to use our gifts when we are given the opportunity to do so or face the possibility that it may never come around again. In reality, we are only given a certain amount of time in this life to offer others our gifts. If we don’t offer them when the opportunity arises that gift is lost once that time is up. – Commentary by Matthew Elliott

Acts 2:42-47
42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
