I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do. – John 13:15

Follow HIS Leadership

Jesus wasn’t rich but he was generous. He served those in need, providing for them His service. He didn’t have a pillow to His name but He provided food for thousands. He was tired, weary, and rarely had time alone, but he never turned anyone away. The crowds He provided for grew while giving back nothing.  If He was here today, would He refuse to tip a waitress based on service? If someone took advantage of Him would He resent them? While He was being crucified, He begged His father to forgive the people. Jesus knew compassion and forgiveness, which He expressed to them. Ask yourself this, if Jesus was in your shoes, right now, how would He act? Would His behavior mimic yours? – Commentary by Sarine Thomas‏

Acts 2:42-47
42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
